X-FORCE-SCAN: Online inspection of Insulation materialsX-ray detector systems for production control; measuring density, area weight, and homogeneity of insulation materials. X-FORCE-SCAN is designed for on-line inspection of products moved by conveyor belt systems; making it possible to improve the product quality and facilitating automatic production regulation, and thus reducing the total production costs. The instrument is based on an extremely reliable sensor system that uses a high-resolution x-ray transmission technique to measure the area weight distribution. The system is accompanied by an extensive and user-friendly software package, tailor made for the individual application.

The instrumentation detects and identifies:
• Dimensions and shape of the product. • Unit weight of the product. • Material distribution across the bandwidth. • Voids in the product. • Density of the product. • Homegeneity of the material. |
