Tracer assisted testing
|

|
Tracer-assisted testing includes a group of services offered by the Tracer Group of the Sensor Innovation Department.
Tracer assisted test methods are non destructive and uses radioactive tracers in liquid or gaseous form to examine characteristics of processes like:
- Flow rate in piped systems
- Flow rate, mixing and residence time in industrial plans
- Leakage examination of piped systems, tanks and heat exchangers
- Water circulation in large boilers
Tracer-assisted testing is frequently used on installations of:
- Industrial process plants
- Chemical industry
- Refineries
- Offshore industry
- Wastewater treatment plants
- District heating plants
